About

Jack Handey once said: “I hope life isn’t a big joke, because I don’t get it.” and I honestly couldn’t agree with the sentiment more…I mean, why are the priest, the minister, and the rabbi walking into a bar?

photo-28My name is Matt Becker, but friends call me Vintage Caveman. I’m a 20 year old college student from the grand ol’ state of Maine.

My career aspirations lean mainly toward the production side of film and television, but I also love to write. Although, I can admit to needing some improvement in the writing department.

I’ve been reading comic books for years, and I can easily declare my fanboy-ness for both Batman and the Green Lantern (Hal Jordan or Alan Scott). “The Walking Dead” and “Hellboy” are also on top of the “I fucking love” list.

On any good day I can be found at home, “kicking it”, with my hamster (Daphne MacGuffin Slack) and some good pizza (or ramen).

Feel free to contact me. I am friendly…and stuff.

  1. It’s true, you are indeed friendly…and stuff.

  2. It’s good. Concise and friendly. I have to update mine since someone pointed out it’s woefully out of date. I’ve just left it blank for now.

  3. Referencing “The Walking Dead” in your bio is ALWAYS a good thing!

  4. i love it and i love the picture. i can barely wait for the day when you realize how awesome you are.

  5. I am pretty sure I found your blog through the wonderful Mistress Slack, but that aside I just wanted to say this is a great blog. About pages can be tricky (mine is in a rather disparate need for revision as well) and yours is quite well done. So that’s all, just a “hello” “nice blog” and a “hope you aren’t completely frozen up there in Maine” 🙂

  6. I *love* the picture and I love that you started off with a quote from Jack Handey. When you’re done visiting your brother in AZ, see if you feel like traveling a few more hours west to L.A. because I hope to meet you someday.

  7. Sorry this took so long.
